Major Lazer is the side project of two of the best DJ/Producers out right now - Diplo and Switch. They have both teamed up to put together this fictitious cartoon character (similar to Gorillaz) named Major Lazer, who fought as a Jamaican commando in a highly classified Zombie War in 1984. This happens to be where he lost his right arm. ML currently fights off vampires and monsters, parties hard, and has a rocket launcher as a replacement for his severed arm. A new EP of remixes just came out for Major Lazer entitled Lazers Never Die, and this where you will find today's catch. "Jump Up" is remixed by Thom Yorke who met with Diplo earlier this year to express his interest in working with the song. Now if I'm not mistaken, you can hear just a tad of "Idioteque" from one of Radiohead's earlier album.
