Aussies Had Split In 2012; Reformed For Live Dates This Year

YouTube

Tempted back to Australian stages by Bruce Springsteen tour money earlier this year, it appears that Australia's Jet is still a thing; the Cester brothers and band have teamed up with Italian electronic act The Bloody Beetroots for new single, "My Name Is Thunder"--the first new Jet music since 2009's Shaka Rock, recorded at Chris "Frenchie" Smith's Bubble compound here in Austin. Check out the "Thunder" lyric video below. If the new song is a harbinger for more Jet music to come, it might be a bit--frontman Nic Cester is expected to offer a solo album later this year.
