Liam, Noel Offer Solo Albums This Fall

YOUTUBE/YOUTUBE

Since its release was first mentioned in the news, 101X has been sharing some initial sounds from former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher's first solo album. Videos for "Wall Of Glass" and "For What It's Worth" have been featured on 101X.com, and I addressed new song "Greedy Soul" on the latest UKTX show. The wait is over--tomorrow, Liam's As You Were arrives where you buy and stream music. Early word from NME on the Greg Kurstin- (Adele, Foo Fighters, and--erm--Geggy Tah) produced record is "a big, fat, hell yes."

Not to be outdone, Oasis' rhythm guitarist/sometimes-singer/principal songwriter Noel Gallagher has rolled out plans for his own new solo album. Who Built The Moon, Noel's third, arrives November 24.  Check out a teaser clip for the new record:

Both Gallagher brothers will tour the States to support their new releases; Liam's in San Bernardino, CA, for Dave Grohl's CalJam this weekend (and back for another small tour later this fall), while Noel's in North America for 20+ stops early next year, including a March 5 ACL Live gig.
