The Sucktones to Play Benefit Show This Sunday

 

Your favorite band is back on the scene. Jason's band The Sucktones are playing a benefit show for Kenneth Johnson this Sunday at Red Eyed Fly.

 

Kenneth, a 35-year-old local musician, was the victim of the rock-throwing incident on I-35 earlier in July. Kenneth was heading home on I-35 from his job at Little Woodrow's in the early hours of July 14th when someone threw a rock at his car. It went through his windshield and hit him on the face. He is now suffering from severe brain damage. Check out this KVUE article for more information.

 

So his friends and family have got together to throw a benefit show to try and help raise money for Kenneth's medical costs. The Sucktones will be playing the show, as well as Rubberhead (who are reuniting for the first time in 5 years!), Back Alley Music Review, Party Wizard, and more.

 

Doors are at 3PM and The Sucktones come on at 4:20. Cost of admissions is $7, but they will also be accepting donations for Kenneth throughout the show.
