Deb's Diary
Pre Goodwill Pile
Dear Diary
One of my friends recently purchased her first house so the last week or two have been very hectic for her with moving out of and cleaning the old place, and preparing and moving into the new one. I volunteered to go round and help her unpack on Sunday so I grabbed some beer and showed up ready to go to work. But instead of work, I found myself having a great time. Who'da thought unpacking someone else's belongings could be so much fun? The clothes were my favourite part. I helped my friend 'winterise' her wardrobe, rehang overything on matching hangers and organize a Goodwill pile. The Goodwill pile was the hardest part to convince my friend about. In fact, I had to talk her into a 'pre Goodwill' pile, that, if she hadn't used in several months, would automatically go to charity. It was awesome! What a sense of acomplishment I achieved! Oh, and I helped my friend out too :)
