Piggie's Graduation

Dear Diary

Remember last week when I was all annoyed at 5yr olds having ‘graduation’ ceremonies? Well in a completely non related and non hypocritical move, I’m very excited to announce that my sweet little foster dog Princess Piglet will graduate from training this Thursday! And honestly, it really is something to be proud of. You see, she’s the absolute sweetest, most loving dog, who just wants to cuddle and lick you all the time, but her behavior left something to be desired. Taking her for a walk was an exercise in trying to keep your arm in its socket. She would also fixate on other animals we’d see on the walk and as hard as I tried, I just couldn’t break her attention. She was obsessed! She made my sometimes badly behaved dog Blue look like an angel!  I was really worried that I wouldn’t be able to get her adopted to a good and loving home with such issues, so on the recommendation of a good friend at Austin Pets Alive,  I took her to Triple Crown Training. The trainer who took her on is called Kevin and he’s an absolute miracle worker. Over the last month he sent me the most lovely updates, pictures and videos of little Piggie and I came to realise this hopeless case was not that at all, and that my little Pig was going to emerge a changed lady! So, I’d like to put it out there, that if you’re in the market for a new pet, one who will love you until the end of her time on this planet, and who now has the perfect manners of a queen, look no further than my Princess Piget…
