Lost In Round Rock

Dear Diary

I was in Round Rock yesterday and had an hour or two to spare. Poor Blue was having his little surgery and I didn't want to sit in the waiting room. What the hell is there to do in Round Rock when you've got time to spare? I thought I might check out IKEA. What's up with IKEA? I mean that. What;s the deal with IKEA? Is it a furniture shop? Is it a warehouse? Is it a restaurant? Is it a kids play area? Is it just a place to walk around in the AC when it's 100degrees outside? Well either way, I was very close so I decided to go in. Already confused, I couldn't find the paper and pencils to write the orders down. BUt as soon as I had, I started writing with fervor. YEs I need that bookshelf. Yes I need those cd racks. YEs I need that new cutlery tray. Yes I need new tea towels. Yes I need a new duvet and mattress cover. Oh and of course I need a new duvet cover. Oh, and now I'm hungry so I'd better refill. Oh and now and I'm tired. Where are the cash registers? Is that the exit? Oh wait, I've got to through the kids department. Is that the exit? No that's the massive storage shelves where you pick up your flat packed chairs and shelves. WHere's the exit? I can't be bothered to climb up that S and find my stuff. OK. There's the cash register. I'm just buying what's in my bag. That list can just wait til another day.
