It's MY Car!
This is my first official week as a classic car owner and lemme tell ya, it's been pretty awesome! My 1968 Buick Wildcat brings me so much joy, I only wish I'd bought it earlier! However, I'm glad I waited because I think this is the perfect car for me. I took out and about this weekend and to be honest, it's kinda weird driving a really rad car because a lot of people stare at it. Sometimes I forget I'm driving it and catch someone staring and my first reaction is wtf? What the hell are you looking at? Then I realize they're eyeing up my beautiful baby and I get all proud. It seems that at almost every stoplight someone leans out of their car window and asks what year it is and compliments it. It's freakin awesome! However, it seems like there are some people who can't believe a car like that can belong to a 'girl' like me. For example, the other day my friend Jeff and I pulled up to an auto store to pick up The Club to safeguard my vehicle. THere were two guys outside messing with their car and as soon as we pulled up one guy addresses Jeff and says "nice car bro! What year is it?" what the hell am I chopped liver? I'm the one who got out of the driver's seat, and am holding the keys! Whatever, men, that car is mine and it suits me perfectly!
