Dear Diary
 
The last few weeks have been a bit out of the ordinary for me. For some reason, I’ve stepped up my beer consumption and fallen off the healthy eating bandwagon a bit. Yesterday I was inspired by a friend to turn over a new leaf. My dear friend Jessica, who also my CrossFit Central coach, just returned from competing at the Crossfit Games (congratulations to Team CrossFit Central). Jessica told my class yesterday that after weeks of training hard for the Games, she had a week of ‘cheat eating’ to celebrate. However,  when she returned to her workouts, she absolutely sucked arse and felt terrible. All thanks to just one week of eating badly. She recommended to my class yesterday that we keep a food journal and write down EVERYTHING that we eat, even if it’s bad. So I purchased a food/workout log from CC and started filling it in last night. I think once I see just how many beers I drink a week, and how those ‘little cheats’ add up, I’ll be very surprised. And hopefully, I’ll see some semblance of my 6-pack again, which has been a bit elusive for a little while…
