To Drink Or Not To Drink

Dear Diary

So I started back up drinking this week after taking a month off, and I'm sure Jason's going to call me out for this, but I think I prefer not drinking. As I had decided to move up the end date of my drinking ban a day or two, I had a fun night of drinking at the AIDS benefit Jason and I hosted on Saturday night, then on Sunday it was back to my old routine of lunch at 24Diner with a Brooklyn Lager or three, then a little Sunday Funday at Little Woodrow's. As much of a nice time that I had, and it was fun, Jason even joined us for a while, the trouble was how drinking made me feel afterwards. On Sunday Morning, well strike that, I couldn't even get up Sunday morning as I felt like such arse, I missed my track workout. On Monday, I had a headache that stayed with me all day and even rattled my brain as I was doing my jumping jacks at CrossfitCentral  at 6pm. That's lame! I don't like feeling like that! I was discussing it with my friend Jeff, who's not a big drinker, and he agreed. He'd much rather feel better the next day and workout than get wasted at night. So, I am rethinking my entire approach to booze. I went out for dinner last night and just drank water while my friend had some wine. I really wanted a glass of wine, but I wanted to have an awesome workout today even more. So. Good luck to me!
