Dear Diary, I’m Excited About My New Trash Bin

Over the weekend Deb got a new rolling green food/yard waste bin. She is so excited to be able to compost and keep it outside. She used to compost and had a miniature silver trash can in the kitchen where she would put her food scraps in. Unfortunately for Deb, it attracted lots of flies and bugs to her kitchen. It was pretty gross. Now, she can keep it outside next to her trash and recycling bins while being a little more environmentally friendly. Jason said he had a green composting bin for years and had used it once. Jason put leaves he had taken out of his pool skimmer in it. He left it in there for several weeks but when he tried to empty it he couldn’t because it had collected lots of water in addition to the leaves. Jason’s solution was to stab the bottom of the bin to let it drain out for a couple of hours. He has not used it since. 

Characters Game 

Well, we’re not sure on what to call this yet, but today we premiered a new game. It has to do with television characters and naming the show they’re from. Since Deb didn’t know many older T.V. shows she didn’t do so great and started reeling. You can listen to the game and Deb’s reeling during the 7am podcast.
