DISCO KARAOKE MAKE ME HAPPY LONG TIME!

”description”Dear Diary, Last night, I had what can only be called an amazing evening. I know it was a school night, and I've got a responsibility to my show not to not get too messed up but it was worth it. If I think about it, I'm not even sure that I want to tell anyone where I went as I don't want this thing to blow up.....

But that said, if you've never gone to karaoke sushi, you've not quite experienced everything Austin has to offer. Yes, you heard me correctly, karaoke sushi, where you can get a sake bomb and bomb on stage to a timeless Johnny Cash or Cindy Lauper number. It's not even that the food is wonderful, or that singing drunk karaoke is fun, or watching people get gonged off stage because they're rubbish is satisfying, no there's more. Karaoke Sushi is hosted by this hilarious little Korean man called DK, who makes being sexually harassed fun and dresses up like a mini huggy bear. He does a sake bomb with everyone who sings and you can imagine the state he ends up in. It's not for the faint of heart or easily offended, as there are jokes about every single body part, generally in graphic detail and there is even the odd arse grabbing. I myself was butt slapped as I poured out my best Olivia Newton John, I'm sure there's still a mark, but it's all worth it as this is an Austin institution, and worth being a little fuzzy for. So, I salute you DK, you and your sushi bar, afro wig, sunglasses and pimp suit, you and your sake bombs karaoke songs and Tuesday morning hangovers.

Enjoy these cute boys I found at the karaoke bar (ok, maybe I went with them) and then you can ridicule me by watching the video. I know I'm terrible, but I love karaoke! Almost as much as I love sake bombs. But not sake in my bum. Thanks for that by the way, Chris.
