Super American Music Video from Alt-J

Alt-J's somewhat controversial single "Left Hand Free" now has a music video. And it's very....American.

We're talking tubing on the river, drinking beer, lighting fireworks in the back of the truck, the whole nine yards.

For the record, Alt-J is a British band. And they already weren't huge fans of "Left Hand Free" to begin with. According to an interview with the Guardian, they wrote it in 20 minutes to make their label, Atlantic, happy. "I can imagine it appealing to American truckers with 'Good Riddance To Bin Laden' stickers," said Joe Newman.

Directed by Ryan Staake.

This video isn't just American. It's Texan. And it's not just Texan. It was filmed in AUSTIN. Notice Top Notch Burgers and Chicken Sh*t Bingo?

The album This Is All Yours comes out on September 22 and you can see Alt-J live at Fun Fun Fun Fest this year.
