101x Remembers: Kurt Cobain

Today marks the 24th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death.

Although Cobain died on this day, April 5, in 1994, it wasn't until three days later that his body was discovered by an electrician that arrived at his home in Seattle. Police reported that Cobain's death was due to a gunshot wound to the head.

Before his death, Cobain checked himself into a drug rehabilitation facility due to his heroin addiction resurfacing.

He is remembered by his wife Courtney Love, their daughter Frances Bean Cobain, and fans across the world.
