101X’S TREVIN ON THE RADIO AND DISC GOLFERS UNITE IN CHARITY TOURNEY FOR AUSTIN PETS ALIVE!

Austin / Dripping Springs, Texas- Disc Golfers to descend on Dripping Springs’ Twin Parks Country Club on Saturday, April 28^th, 2012 for a great day of Disc Golf in the beautiful Texas hill country!

Nestled in the heart of the hill country Twin Parks Country Club plays host to the 1^st ever ROCK THE PARK DG TOURNEY, an all day event, starting at 10am featuring 36 teams of 4 chunking their way through a challenging and gorgeous course featuring 36 holes, with morning and afternoon play, and some great surprises in-between.

“Disc Golf is one of my favorite things to do, it’s great fun, and wouldn’t be the same without my partner / caddie Rolph; my Shepherd-Husky mix”, says Trevin., “I wanted to roll all of my favorite things together to do some good for a cause that is near to my heart, so hosting this tourney just made sense.”

Registration is on now at www.twinparkscountryclub.com and is $125.00 per team of 4.

Fees include a charitable donation to Austin Pets Alive, a complimentary player’s gift bag, with goodies from Disc Nation, Billy Cannon’s Smoke and Ink, lunch from Wahoo’s tacos, 101X swag AND MORE.  1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place teams will receive fantastic prizes like concert tickets, discs, and gift certificates from our sponsors.

Trevin on the Radio can be heard on 101X, 101.5FM from 6-10 nightly, and has been on staff at the station for nearly 10 years.  He volunteers for a variety of community organizations such as HAAM, (Health Alliance for Austin Musicians) Habitat for Humanity and more.
