I CAN'T HANDLE THE LOUD TALKING!

Dear Diary,
 There is something that's been driving me mad recently. I thought it was just me, maybe because I've not been well and my ears have been all blocked up, but I've had witnesses so I know I'm not being too sensitive. It's not like it's a new phenomenon or anything, but maybe it's going through a resurgence? I'm talking about Loud Talkers. Loud Talkers are people who for some reason or another do not operate on the same volume level as others in society. Loud Talkers will broadcast the most personal details as well as the most mundane everyday thoughts, so loud that even the dead can hear them. Loud Talkers use their cell phones to call their friends in different states to complain about their jobs, while they are at work driving a bus load of tourists back from their cruise. Yes! Dear Diary
 Yesterday, Cassandra and I made our way back from the Bud Light Party Cruise. It was a long day as we had an early start and a late departure, and some delayed flights from the weather in Houston kept us at the airport all day. We were a tad tired and as Cass had been throwing up all night, a little tender as well. However the worst thing about spending the day in the airport was the fact that Cassandra and I also spent the day in the doghouse. I'm not too familiar with this place, as I'm pretty much an awesome girlfriend, so I'm not sure how it all works, but I know this - it sucks. The doghouse is a horrible house.  It's birthday time!! Not mine of course as you know I turned 45 last month, no, it's my boyfriend's turn this weekend. Actually, on a small side note, it's birthday season all around. 2 friends in Sept, then me, then my Mum's was last week, now it's my man's, then it's my little brother's the week after my man's. Can you say bleeding money? Anyhoo, I really want to make it special for him a it's our first year together. Oh, that and the fact that I'll actually be on the Bud Light cruise with Cassandra, in the Bahamas, watching a private island concert featuring Dave Matthews on the day of his birthday. Dear Diary.
 Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been really busy. Really busy and tired. Really busy, tired and lazy I suppose. Anyway the combination of these things led to a really disgusting, dirty house. Actually, it probably wasn't that bad compared to normal people's standards but my house is usually very clean. And the fact that I have two cats and a dog leads to tons of damn pet hair everywhere. Also my honey was coming to town for ACL and I wanted the house to be lovely and clean for him. Anyway, my point is, I was overwhelmed by the thought of cleaning that sh*t pit so I decided to hire a maid. Dear Diary,
 As you know, it was my birthday this weekend and I had such a wonderful time up in Fort Worth with my man. We spent some lovely quality time together and he totally spoiled me. He even took a couple of days off to hang out with me, but as he's a chef, he couldn't take the whole weekend off. So one evening while I was there, I went into his restaurant and just hung out at the bar and had a drink while I waited for him to finish work. I've done this before, but it's been at my boyfriend's restaurant here in town and I know a lot of the people who work there, however I felt a little weird sitting alone in a strange bar in a strange town.
