I Can't Stand This ONE Thing!

    Posted 3/9/2010 7:51:00 AM
    Dear Diary. ”description”

I might sound a little bit ungrateful today and that's not the case. Here's the thing: My lovely boyfriend is home at the moment, just for a few days and I'm SOOOOO happy to have him home. He's been gone for ages and as soon as he comes home in three weeks, he'll be leaving again! So these few days we've got together are really important to me. However last night I realised that there was one thing about my beautiful man that I really really really hate. Honestly, I hate this one thing so much, I wish I never had to be witness to it ever again! I feel like I'm a pretty good person, with a decent grip on the reality of relationships. I know that you can't sit there hoping for the person you love to just change that one thing and they'd be perfect. ...

    Deb's Boyfriend Is Coming Home!

    Dear Diary

”description”I got some BRILLIANT news last night. My boyfriend finally hired a new chef and it looks like he'll be home in three weeks!! Hurrah! However, as I say that, I'm nervous that I'm going to jinx the whole thing... No! I'm going to stay positive. He WILL be home in three weeks. And it's about time because, honestly, not only have I missed him terribly, but I've been working hard for him in his absence. For example, his old arse dog Brody, is, in human years, 98. I'm basically his nurse. He needs a lot of special attention and thank God I'm working out because I've got to carry him up the stairs twice a day. I'm also pretty much sick and tired of cleaning up his wee and poo when he's too infirm (or lazy) to make it outside in time. Also, my man's lease is ...

Working Out Like A Big Girl!

    Dear Diary

”description”Today is Tuesday, which is obviously better than Monday, but it has it's challenges. It's supposed to snow today and more importantly it's Catz's day. That means Cass and I will drive up 183 and voluntarily get our arses kicked by Bill or Jim or Scott or one of the other nazis I mean instructors. But that's not what I want to talk about this morning. I want to talk about Cassandra. I want to talk about how much she's changed since we began working out at Catz's a month ago. When we first started, Cass cracked me up. It wasn't that as we were working out she told jokes or anything, no, it was more that she ran like a 6yr old girl in the playground at school, threw a sandbag like it was all 'icky' and punched with less vigor than Jason Dick. In one class, ...

    Calm But With Underlying Rage

    Posted 2/16/2010 11:14:00 AM
    Dear Diary.

”description”Something happened this weekend that I thought I would never see. Something, even though it can be percieved as a negative thing, that was pretty awesome. And rare! My boyfriend completely lost his temper. If you've ever heard my man here on the radio, you'll know that he's really softly spoken, very sweet and totally a lover. He's got this wonderful calm, strong aura about him, that I fell in love with the first time I laid eyes on him. But according to him, and I quote, he's got "underlying rage". Ha! Really? No way!! Now, according to him, as a chef, he's made servers cry for messing up food orders and such, but I find that really hard to believe. He's so damn sweet! But on Sunday, when I got home from the Plucker's Anti Valentine's day I saw this 'other side of him'. It all came ...

    I Need Skype Tips!

    Posted 2/9/2010 7:53:00 AM
    Dear Diary

”description”As you know, my sweet honey is out of town on business for the next couple of months. I'll be going out to visit him in Arizona in the next few weeks, but until then we stay in touch by text message and multiple phone calls throughout the day. Yesterday we were chatting after the show like we normally do, telling each other what our days help in store for us, and planning when we'd have our evening chat, which is usally our long one, where we get caught up after the day's events. As we planned what time we'd call each other, I blurted out that I thought we should Skype. "Sweet!" my man said "maybe you can show me your boobs!" Oh how funny he is!! I laughed and then told him I expected to see his junk too, although I was half kidding. With these ...
