No more zombie books before bed for me!

Dear Diary

”description”Last night I got to bed nice and early. I really needed a good night's sleep and as my bf is out of town, I decided to take advantage of the quiet house. I had a shower, put some nice relaxing lotion on and slipped into my lovely clean sheets. I decided I'd read rather than put the telly on as I heard once that you shouldn't really watch TV in bed as it stimulates the brain and stops you sleeping. I had some quiet music on in the background and was all set to chill. Our beloved DJ penis guy intern Nick lent me a book a couple of months ago that I hadn't had the time to start so I thought, "what better time than now?" It's a book called "Feed", and apparently it's about your average run of the mill post apocalyptic zombie ridden half destroyed world. What the hell was I thinking??? I can't tell you how many times I woke up being chased by zombies. And to make matters worse, my bf's 14 yr old dog, who's half deaf, half blind, half crippled and mildly incontinent, was having nightmares too and even fell out of his bed at one point on his way to get a drink. His whining woke me up several times and when I got back to sleep, the dogs were then worked into my dreams. They were chasing zombies, got hit by a car and had to go to the vets.In my dream, I found this out via fax on my friend Ben's boat. WTF? The vet fax informed me that the dogs were now zombie dogs. What? I'm NEVER reading a zombie book before bed EVER again! And to think, I had planned such a relaxing night...
