Internationally acclaimed Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós will perform at Cedar Park Center on April 10th at 7:30 p.m.

Sigur Rós is known for their melancholic, ethereal sound that, despite being far from mainstream, has spawned hit songs and been featured on Hollywood soundtracks including the film "Vanilla Sky."

Some critics such as Jim Fusilli of The Wall Street Journal and David Fricke of Rolling Stone magazine have hailed the group as one of the best rock acts in the world.

In February this year, the band announced their return after their time-off, embarking on a worldwide tour and releasing their latest album "Valtari," a more intimate, ambient and soundscaping album that took six years to make.
